Dentures are divided into Removable Partial Dentures replacing a few missing natural teeth and Complete Denture is fabricated when all teeth removed. Dentures that fit properly can improve the appearance, eating and speaking. Dentures are taken out before going to bed at night and put them in again in the morning. Perio-Prosthodontics

Periodontal diseases are the major cause of tooth loss in adults. A bacterial infection that attacks the gums, bone, and ligaments that support the teeth and hold them in the jaw start periodontal diseases. The gums, bone and other structures that support the teeth should be healthy for crowns and bridges to last long time. When the surrounding gum and healthy attachments of gum tissues to the teeth break down causing bridges to loosen. When the roots of teeth are exposed, the patient feels very sensitive to hot and cold food. Also, long root-exposed tooth doesn’t look nice. Gum tissues were grafted to restore normal gum tissue level and to recreate normal appearance

Crown

A Crown is a restoration that covers or caps a tooth to restore the damaged tooth to its normal shapes and size. A crown also gives strength to a tooth, and it protects a decay-damaged tooth from fracture. The location of the teeth, condition of your oral health, and other factors help determine the type of material that will be used for the crown. Gold is the material of choice for strength and porcelain is an excellent substitute to match the shades of adjacent teeth.
